Why a narrative CVDORA, the Leiden Manifesto and the Hong Kong Principles all argue assessment should weigh the contribution and its merit, not the venue or the count. A narrative CV makes that practical — it lets you show open practice, partnership, teaching, mentoring and service that a metrics CV renders invisible. Pair it with your SoTL Index for the evidence, and the RRA hub for the wider toolkit.
Frameworks & attribution. Module structure adapts the Résumé for Research and Innovation (R4RI) used by UKRI and the Royal Society narrative CV, with Glassick et al.'s (1997) standards for scholarly quality and DORA's principles.
